For Daffodil Day in March 2024, the Phoenix American Shannon office, PAFS Ireland Ltd, showed off its cooking skills with a wide array of baked goods. Daffodil Day is the Irish Cancer Society’s biggest fundraising event of the year. The Irish Cancer Society is a community of patients, survivors, volunteers, supporters, health and social care professionals and researchers transforming the experiences and outcomes of people affected by cancer through advocacy, support services and research.

This year the bakers in PAFS Ireland out did themselves with delicious home baked goods. A lot of effort from PAFS Ireland staff went into what was an amazing spread. It was all for a great cause with in excess of €2,800 raised during this sale. This was from employee donations which were matched by PAFS Ireland. Daffodil Day is vital to the Irish Cancer Society as it typically receives only 5% of its income from the Government so it is thanks to amazing donors, fundraisers and volunteers that it is able to provide services and support that make sure that nobody in Ireland has to face cancer alone. Phoenix American and PAFS Ireland are both proud to support this event and the Irish Cancer Society.
